Dr. Huston has been an engineering faculty member at the University of Vermont since 1987. He has over thirty years experience in developing and implementing systems for assessing the performance and health of infrastructure systems. Current research interests include developing multichannel ground penetrating radar systems for buried infrastructure mapping in cities, monitoring of accelerated bridge construction, self-healing systems and flood scour resiliency assessments. He has a Ph.D. and M.A. from Princeton University and a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania.
