Priya Shrinivasan is the Assistant Commissioner for Telecommunications Planning and Resiliency at the City of New York’s Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT). Ms. Shrinivasan came to DoITT in August 2014, after a 20 year career at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), where she last held the position of Associate Bureau Chief in the FCC’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau.
Ms. Shrinivasan graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a minor in Creative Writing. She received her law degree from American University’s Washington College of Law and is licensed to practice in New York.
